Our mission is that through art, music and creativity youth would come to know our Creator and Savior Jesus Christ.

Studio del Creador provides youth an alternative to the street life of gangs, drugs and alcohol by providing a safe, positive and encouraging environment where one can find a new hope for their futures with the love of Jesus Christ. In SDC youth are encouraged to express themselves, share their voice and follow their dreams. We offer free art and music workshops and hold special events, encouraging youth to discover the creativity our Heavenly Creator has placed within them.

Created in His Image

Upon creating the heavens and the earth God’s word says in Genesis 1:26-27 that, “God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, in our likeness’…so God created man in his own image.” God created each of us in His image, making us carriers of His creativity in our own special ways.  Creativity is the Lord´s.  May there be a great turn in the art realm— may more art and music begin to reflect God’s glory, beauty and love.  We are privileged to be part of a generation that is raising up to worship Him with the gift of creativity that He placed within each one of us!

In focusing on the creative realm of the arts and music, the true heart of Studio Del Creador is to see lives and communities impacted with the love of Jesus Christ. “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.” –1 John 4:7 Friendship and relationship are key to sharing His love with others, and thus they are priority to our ministry.

In His love, we eagerly desire to follow Jesus’ command for his followers:

“Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.  Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.  And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”  Mark 16:15-18

Dream Makers

Studio Del Creador is a place where dreams are birthed and dreams come true. SDC was born from a dream that God placed on the heart of Natalie Nicholson when she was just a youth.  SDC hopes that its testimony will encourage youth to dream big and seek the Lord in seeing their dreams come true!

Studio Del Creador is located just across the border in Tecate, Mexico; 40 miles east of Tijuana. Tecate is a safe, small border town.

Working with Christ’s Church Body

It is important for us that each person whom enters the doors of SDC experiences the unconditional love of Christ and be changed because of Him. We hold weekly devotionals in His word, but see the most fruit come from the friendships built between each individual, where God’s love can be shared on a more personal level and impact lives.

 As we love, minister and begin to see spiritual growth in those whom God brings to the studio, we encourage each individual to get involved in one of the local churches of Tecate. We greatly value the function and importance of Christ’s church body, thus it is important to us to work hand-in-hand with the other existing ministries, such as Christ’s church body.  We have teamed up with local youth groups to work on various community projects, as well we enjoy attending their gatherings and camps.

Ministry through the Arts:

Studio Del Creador artists participate in: fine arts such as drawing and painting, sewing, crafts, artistic graffiti, murals, jewelry making, sculpture and pottery, etc.

Ministry through Music:

Studio Del Creador offers classes and usage of the following instruments: keyboard, guitar, bass and drums.
