Bernabe Rodriguez Tapia

Meet Bernabe, Asistant Program Director and Discipleship Leader

“I am a youth leader and it is my passion to serve this generation. I really like to teach, play music, read, write and camp. I believe in the potential that we have as youth to serve our society with our gifts, and it is my greatest desire to be able to help others uncover their gifts to the maximum and participate like changing agents in our Tecate and Mexico.”
Birthdate: April 23

Bernabe is 26 years old and joined our team in August of 2011. Not only is he the youth leader of his church, but he is also serving as the President of the Youth Aliance of the city of Tecate.

Adrian Elizarraraz Guzman

Adrian, 21 years old, grew up in Tijuana, Mexico. He was raised in ministry and dreams of continuing to serve in ministry through music. He joined our team fulltime in August 2010 and serves as our music teacher teaching guitar, drum, bass, and keyboard lessons on a daily basis to our youth. He is also hoping to begin our first worship band here in the studio.
Birthday: June 14

Adrian enjoys skateboarding and playing electric guitar in his free time.

Albertho Castro

Meet Albertho, one of SDC’s fulltime art teachers:

“Since being 15 years old, I have recognized my calling into the missions field. I love Jesus and truly believe that He died so that I can live. I want to bring His love that He gave me to others out in the streets and wherever there may be a need. I actively participate in a variety of programs at my church.  I love to work with people, be of help and I desire to transmit the love of God through all that I do. All of my life belongs to God and only for Him do I want to live.”
Birthday: August 21
